Sometimes we have to make our own opportunities, and other times we are invited. And I am a big believer in accepting adventures as they come. I size up the risk and usually go for ot. After all, a life well loved is nothing without takong a few chances.
So when I received an invitation for the weekend, I thought about it and decided the adventure would be worth it. After all, we only get thie one life. And after a challenging week, it is time to get out of town and have some fun. All work and no play makes for a very boring life.
And this is the perfect time for a summer holiday pick me up. There is a huge transition coming into my life, aand who knows what it will all look like at the end. It seems that life has been a series of transitions for the past dew years. Amd simetimes we do go through a transition phase.
And I am convinced that the longer the time of transition, the bigger the change. And it makes sense. We might get whiplash if that 180 happened too fast. As humans we don’t like change, so we must adjust slowly. Thus the longer transition time for larger changes.
And I feel like this tramsition is truly settling in, thought I have no idea what the final product will look like. And that is ok. Maybe we aren’t supposed to know. Maybe our job is simply to adjust to the change, while keeping our integrity in tact, and have adventures a long the way. And if that is the case, then I am all in.
Life is short. Take advantage of the invitations extended to you and have adventures. Live the brief life we have been gifted and run with it. You won’t be sorry.
